BREAKING NEWS: HON. CANDIDO COMMEND AMAC PRESS CORPS, SET TARGET FOR 2018 COMMUNITY PROJECTS.
The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido today 22nd December, 2017 hosted the Abuja Municipal Area Council Press corp members in an event that looked like an end of the year Press Briefing. Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido after taking the stage, highlighted some of the privileges and opportunities his administration was able to utilize during the cause of 2017.
Hon. Abdullahi who mentioned some key achievement such as the licensing of the AMAC Micro Finance, AMAC radio station and the ongoing town hall his administration has built and is building, said inspite of the challenges of finance that befell the government since last year to towards the end of the year, could not hinder his administration from bringing democratic dividend to his people.
However, the chairman also projected the new year we are anticipating as a definite year for improvement. Hon. Abdullahi who categorically stated that his administration will spread three new primary health care centers within AMAC in the coming new year. "We will also not negate the fact that there is the need to compliment the state effort in building and renovating our primary schools infrastructures" the chairman also said.
The Hon. chairman who took his time, also commended the press Corp and the good works they are doing. In his elevation plans for the Corp members in AMAC, the Hon. chairman said "under the grace of God, one among the AMAC press corp members, will be randomly picked to join the colleagues in the FCTA press corp team by 2018." He charged them to be courageous and report more of developmental strides rather than political events.
In his concluding remarks, the Hon. chairman tasked the press corp and the general public to be law abiding and be faithful to the tenets of Christianity as the celebration of Jesus is the representation of PEACE.
Meanwhile, the press Corp team led by its chairman, thanked the Hon. chairman for the Christmas goodies and packages given the press Corp team saying "we are grateful and may thy Almighty God continue to direct the chairman as he steers the people"
